The surprisingly dark purple-red colour, nevertheless for Pinot Noir (this noble grape deserves capital letters for once). Ripe cherries, a soft spiciness and a hint of vanilla welcome you in the nose where waltzing evokes a real sense of holiday. While the tannins of the wood ageing first leave your mouth dry, you are quietly overpowered by a bomb of red fruits. Fruit that continues to explode in the finish combined with a pleasant wood touch.
