Acolon

This wine is characterised by its intense dark red colour. Aromas of red fruits, black cherry, chocolate, peppers, blackberries and blackcurrant and a strong spiciness are a treat for the nose and swirling the wine immediately evokes a moreish feeling. The wood ageing gives a pleasing finish to this complex wine in typical Bordeaux style.

Clay and sandy loam. The different layers allow us to enhance the aromatic and mineral components of this wine. 

VINIFICATION

Harvested by machine. This wine was 50% barrel aged in new French oak barrels for 4 months to preserve its fragile character.
